Artist's Comments

Living behind masks to preserve our humility,
perhaps one day, we'll emerge from our cocoons,
fully transformed as new beings.

-----------------------

Part 2

The mask is supposed to appear as part of her face as well as a separate entity from herself.

and THANKYOU for being creative :)
this is why i started a stock account ;)

I do hope you use my stock again in the future and i very much liked the concept behind your work it reminds me of a piece i done a while ago called "mask of a thousand butterflys" in my main account.

i think everyone wears a mask
some even where a mask over a mask
:)

Do you have anymore masks? :D I have to agree with you, sometimes people wear multiple masks and reveal a different one with different people. Thank you!

....I'm having trouble finding words that don't sound childish or slang-y >.<

The masks that people hide behind are....oh, to hell with it, they're 'icky' so to speak, but most of the time they're necessary, to not get hurt. Defense mechanisms of sorts. But it still makes you wonder if the personality someone is showing you is their true self. I hope people will be able to throw away those masks someday.

If that made any sense xD
I love the little sparkly butterfly in the bottom of the frame <3
