Dreams: an illusion of time and reality
Time: an illusion of man
Reality: an illusion of existence

When down is up and time is broken,
may we see the wonders of illusion.
And as the sun rises, so ends our short-lived existence in one illusion....
as we enter another.

'ephemeral' is the title piece for a series called 'The Dreaming'. Dreams, illusions, time, and etc have become frequent subjects in my drawings. The concepts appeared a few times in my dA gallery (all of which were prerequisites to this series). This has something to do with the fact that I had strong dreams in the past and it was my inspiration to start drawing again. Despite moving out of that phase, I'd like to revisit some ideas I had for a while.

The manip itself? Fun... despite almost abandoning it!! This is the third and successful attempt to do an upside down concept. I took my time on it, working on one element a day. Although I used textures before, I honestly do not like working with them (but I do love looking at them and the amazing works that use them! :O) to add color. This time I incorporated two but I color processed one of them, as well as throwing in my trusty color formula.

It's too small and subtle to see but in the clock's reflection, the clock isn't cracked. ;-) Feel free to ponder!
